Jenns Uncommon Critters Inc

LXCL:Jenn's Uncommon Critters is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to the care and education of a diverse range of animals. Relying on donations, they aim to provide quality care and promote awareness about unique animal species.

Join us for a 1 hour long program featuring reptiles, invertebrates, and small mammals. The first 30 minutes is a show and tell portion featuring educational facts and meeting the Animal Ambassadors. The last 30 minutes will consist of touching, holding, and having pictures taken with some of our Ambassadors. This event is geared for anyone ages 5 and up. Advanced Tickets are required for all attendees ages 3 and up. Three Sessions: August 23rd at 12:30-1:30pm, 2:00-3:00pm, and 3:30-4:30pm. Each session is a different show!!! From 5:00-6:00 pm the Barn will be open for an informal Meet &amp; Greet with a select number of Ambassadors. This portion will be donation based with more information in the tickets section. Stick around before or after your session at Manor Hill&#39;s family friendly venue. The Farm &amp; Taproom are open from 12-7pm with 13 farm-brewed beers (+ our hard seltzer). There is indoor seating and plenty of outdoor space to spread out and find your new favorite spot with friends. The Pizza Trolley will be open with brick-oven Neapolitan-style pizzas, snacks, and more. Jenn’s Uncommon Critters at Manor Hill Brewing

Maryland winters and big tortoises don&#39;t mix! These large desert species, the third largest species in the world, need summer like temperatures all year round and that can be a real challenge.&nbsp; Jenn&#39;s Uncommon Critters is in the process of upgrading an old shed into the Winter Tortoise house. While this project is ongoing it is quite the costly endeavor. Your donation will help us continue to repair old flooring and siding; add insulation on the floor, walls, and celling; put down a subfloor; layout a protective floor covering; build out enclosure spaces; build out shelves for the small tortoise enclosures; and repair/run heat and electric to the shed.
