Hello 1986 JHS Alumni,&nbsp;It is hard to believe, but our&nbsp;40th Class Reunion is almost here. We are excited to celebrate this milestone with classmates October 2-3, 2026!&nbsp;We have a fun-filled weekend planned with memories, laughter, and a little throwback to the best of the &rsquo;80s&mdash;Friday Night Lights, big hair, mixtapes, MTV and more! Whether you were a Memorial Eagle or a Parkwood Bear, this weekend is all about bringing everyone back together.&nbsp;TICKET SALES CLOSE TODAY &mdash; SEPTEMBER 25! REUNION WEEKEND SCHEDULE FRIDAY, OCTOBER 2 TAILGATING GATHERING--5:00-6:15 PM Join us at the Jungle Blvd. &amp; Picher St. parking lot before the JHS Homecoming Game.&nbsp;Pizza, soda, tea, and water will be provided. Please bring a chair if possible. We will have some extra chairs available for classmates traveling from out of town.&nbsp;Wear your Old School Eagles T-shirt if you purchase one or any JHS shirt! A limited number of shirts will also be available for purchase at the tailgate.&nbsp;Please note: Alcohol, smoking, and vaping are prohibited on JHS property.&nbsp;TAILGATING RSVP NEEDED The committee has created a Facebook event for the JHS Tailgating Gathering. Find it under &ldquo;Events&rdquo; on our Facebook page and RSVP by Wednesday, September 30 so we can plan enough pizza and beverages. Not on Facebook? RSVP by email at JHSclass86@gmail.com.&nbsp;JHS HOMECOMING EVENTS/GAME &mdash; 6:30 PMAt 6:15 PM, classmates attending the game will head into the stadium as a group JHS Homecoming events begin @ 6:30. Go Eagles!&nbsp;&nbsp;After the game, everyone is welcome to join classmates at Route 66 Pub &amp; Grill at the Holiday Inn.&nbsp;NOT ATTENDING THE FOOTBALL GAME? WE STILL WANT TO SEE YOU! FRIDAY NIGHT GATHERING &mdash; 7:00 PM&ndash;MIDNIGHT Route 66 Pub &amp; Grill at the Holiday Inn &nbsp;3402 Arizona Ave., Joplin, MO&nbsp;Classmates who are not attending the game can begin gathering at Route 66 Pub &amp; Grill at 7:00 PM. Food will be available for purchase until 9:00 PM, so come have dinner, grab a drink, and spend the evening catching up with classmates.&nbsp;Those attending the football game can join everyone there afterward.&nbsp;SATURDAY, OCTOBER 3 10:00 AM &mdash; JOPLIN HIGH SCHOOL TOURMeet at the main entrance and see how things have changed!&nbsp;REUNION DINNER &amp; DANCE &mdash; HOLIDAY INN &nbsp;3402 Arizona Ave., Joplin, MO&nbsp;6:00 PM &mdash; Social Hour &amp; Cash Bar 7:00 PM &mdash; BBQ Buffet Dinner 7:30 PM&ndash;Midnight &mdash; DJ &amp; Dancing We know classmates may also choose to make their own plans or informal get-togethers throughout reunion weekend, and that is perfectly fine. The activities above are those planned by the JHS Class of 1986 Reunion Committee.&nbsp;All proceeds from ticket sales and donations will go directly toward supporting this reunion and future Class of &rsquo;86 gatherings and events.&nbsp;We look forward to a wonderful weekend filled with opportunities to reconnect!&nbsp;Once an Eagle&hellip; Always an Eagle!
