The research is IN: the best way to win elections is Door-to-Door!&nbsp;At a recent Leadership Institute campaign training, the JCRCC executive committee heard compelling evidence to show that person-to-person contact brings the best results--better than phone banks, mailings, robocalls, emails, text, lit drops, radio or TV ads--you name it.&nbsp; The best way to reach people is through people. We certainly will continue to run phone banks and print flyers to Get Out The Vote this November, but we need to divert some of our efforts towards hiring walkers--who aren&#39;t retired or independently wealthy enough to volunteer oodles of time.&nbsp; If you can walk precincts this fall, that&#39;s great! Please sign up when the time comes. BUT if you are unable, or want to help others walk, please help support someone who can walk for you!&nbsp; Here&#39;s our goal. If we send out 25 walkers, and they walk 48 hours each (8 hours a week times 6 weeks), at a rate of 15 doors/hour, they will reach 18,000 homes with our message. (That represents 73% of the 24,658 registered Republicans in Josephine County. We can probably reach the remainder with our volunteer walkers.) We are almost guaranteed success in dominating election results if we attain this goal. It&#39;s doable--IF you help. There are eager young patriots being recruited for this very task as I write, but their time is valuable. They have families to support, or college expenses to pay for. Let&#39;s help them out. Here&#39;s some scenarios to consider.To reach 18,000 homes with paid canvassers, we need to raise about $15,000.Your gift of $1600 today will pay for up to 128 hours of walking, reaching 1,920 voters.A donation of $800 will support walkers for 64 hours, reaching 960 doors.$400 will reach 480 voters.$200, 240 voters. &nbsp;$100, 120 voters. &nbsp;$50, 60 voters.And $25 will cover two hours of in-person contact with voters in Josephine County. &nbsp; Your contribution will keep our canvassing teams on the ground, day after day&mdash;knocking doors, listening to neighbors, and sharing Republican principles across Josephine County. Every dollar helps provide materials, training, and support for effective voter outreach. Join us for First Saturday BRUNCH &amp; BRIEF, a monthly gathering to share a meal and get up to speed on local Republican efforts in Josephine County. Mix and mingle with great discussion starters over a buffet brunch of elegant cuisine. Meet your local officials and candidates. Listen to special guest speakers with news briefs on current issues, campaigns, and upcoming action items. Share laughs over amusing &quot;Political Theatre&quot; skits written by playwright John Buckley Sleadd and acted out by your friendly conservative compatriots. Most of all, let&#39;s have some FUN!Thanks to the generosity of a local business, we are now able to offer this program for free!Menu to include:&nbsp;Quiche Lorraine BitesSausage Biscuits with GravyCroissants with Cream CheeseFinger SandwichesFresh Fruit, JuiceCoffee, Tea, Hot Cocoa, Cider(Menu may vary according to availability.)&nbsp; Our first meeting will take place on September 5, 2026. Watch for updates as details and guest speakers are confirmed. Brunch will be served at the start at 10am. In case of a sellout crowd, overflow seating will be offered for a reduced price.&nbsp; Your ticket purchase helps us plan seating and cover brunch.
