Junebug Productions

Junebug Productions empowers communities through storytelling and cultural organizing, fostering artistic expression and social change. They celebrate their legacy while investing in the next generation of artists and changemakers.

Some legacies are remembered. Others continue to rise. Still: Jubilee Rising is the first chapter of Junebug Productions' five-year Road to 50 campaign, celebrating nearly fifty years of fearless storytelling, cultural organizing and community while investing in the next generation of artists and changemakers. This October, we invite you to help write the next chapter. Still: Jubilee Rising is the inaugural gathering of Jubilee Rising, Junebug Productions' five-year Road to 50 campaign leading to our 50th Anniversary. More than a celebration, this is a collective invitation to honor our legacy while investing in the artists, partnerships and cultural work that will carry Junebug into the next generation. We chose the name Still with intention. Still here. Still creating. Still remembering. Still imagining. Still rising. Over four days in New Orleans, artists, organizers, storytellers, cultural leaders and supporters will gather for performances, conversations, film, music and fellowship that celebrate nearly five decades of transformative work while building momentum for everything still to come. Featured experiences include:

Junebug Juke Joint - Friday, 10/2 at Dew Drop Inn - 8pm

Echoes of the Storm - Saturday, 10/3 & Sunday,10/4 - 7p & 2p

Whether you join us for a single event or experience the full weekend, your presence becomes part of Junebug's living legacy.
