In this interactive simulation, teams receive $500,000 in fictitious stock and compete to build the highest-performing portfolio before the closing bell rings. As the market fluctuates in real time, your team will make quick decisions, analyze trends, and work together under pressure in a high-energy environment that&rsquo;s equal parts strategy, teamwork, and fun. No investing experience needed- just a competitive spirit and a willingness to jump into the action! More than just a great night out, your participation directly supports JA Southwest Virginia&rsquo;s mission to prepare local students for success through financial literacy, workforce readiness, and entrepreneurship programs. The&nbsp;Pete Orr Memorial Golf Tournament brings together community leaders, businesses, and JA supporters for a day on the course in honor of Pete Orr, &nbsp;who believed deeply in mentorship, opportunity, and&nbsp;investing in the next generation. Proceeds from this event support Junior Achievement of Southwest Virginia&rsquo;s Workforce Ready Southwest Virginia initiative, which helps students build the knowledge, skills, and connections they need to achieve economic mobility and succeed in today&rsquo;s workforce. Through hands-on programs in financial literacy, career readiness, and entrepreneurship, Junior Achievement helps students develop capable skillsets, confident mindsets, and meaningful connections to careers in our region. Every team registration, sponsorship, and donation helps ensure that young people across Southwest Virginia have the opportunity to see what&rsquo;s possible for their futures.
