Kat Kares

Kat Kares provides hot meals, hope, and dignity to the unhoused community in Georgetown, TX. We aim to create lasting change through donations, advocacy, and volunteer efforts, fostering a supportive environment for those in need.

💜 We need YOUR help this week, Georgetown! 💜 Kat Kares is running a $500 fundraiser to cover the REST OF THE YEAR of showers, laundry, and clean underwear, t-shirts, and socks for our friends experiencing homelessness right here in Georgetown. Think about that for a second — for less than the cost of a night out, we can make sure someone gets to feel clean, dry, and dignified through the end of 2026. A hot shower. Fresh socks. Clean clothes on their back. These aren't luxuries — they're basic human dignity, and they're often the first step toward someone feeling seen again. $500 goes SO far when it's stretched across a whole year of care. Every dollar you give goes straight into the hands of someone who needs it. Can you help us get there this week? Even $5, $10, $20 makes a difference. Share this post — you never know who's looking for a way to give back locally. 💜

This Giving Tuesday, December 1st, join Kat Kares in standing with our unhoused neighbors in Georgetown, TX. Your support keeps hope and community at the heart of everything we do.Your gift helps Kat Kares serve hot meals and essential support to the unhoused community while fueling compassionate, community-driven efforts toward long-term solutions to homelessness. Every gift, no matter the size, brings someone a warm meal and a reminder that they are not forgotten. My goal is to raise $2,600, which would allow us to provide a $50 grocery store gift card to the lead chef each week for a full year, helping reduce the burden on all the wonderful volunteers who cook for us. Togetherness, we can make sure every Friday supper is covered! Want to help all year long? Choose a monthly gift and keep the meals coming, week after week. Give today and be the reason someone feels hope this holiday season. Thank you for being part of our community
