Kensington Corridor Trust

Kensington Corridor Trust fosters community-led development in Philadelphia, promoting equitable access to resources and empowering residents to reclaim and revitalize their neighborhoods through collective ownership and solidarity economy initiatives.

A note on tickets:&nbsp;To keep this convening true to its purpose, we&#39;re limiting ticket purchases to 2 per organization. This is an intentionally small gathering, and we want as many organizations across the region as possible to have a seat in the room. Thank you for making space for others in community! <a fr-original-style="" href="https://northeast.blackpossibilities.us/" rel="noopener noreferrer" style="text-decoration-color: currentcolor; user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">Black Possibilities: Northeast</a> is a gathering of practitioners, organizers, scholars, entrepreneurs, and policymakers committed to building and strengthening alternative forms of ownership and democratic economies. Building on the momentum of previous national convenings, the Boston Ujima Project, Kensington Corridor Trust, and the Solidarity Economy Research, Policy &amp; Law Project at the University of Illinois Chicago will co-host in Philadelphia on September 18, 2026. This convening will focus specifically on the Northeast Corridor (Boston, MA to Washington, DC), bringing together leaders and organizations advancing collective ownership, community-controlled assets, solidarity economy initiatives, and new models of capital and governance.&nbsp; Black Possibilities: Northeast celebrates how individuals and communities mobilize to reclaim our neighborhoods, towns, and cities, creating sites of liberation, resistance, care, and refusal. At a time of widening inequality and increasing displacement pressures across major metropolitan regions, this gathering will provide space for movement leaders to learn from one another, build strategy, and deepen collaboration. - -&nbsp; Tickets for Black Possibilities: Northeast are offered on a sliding scale.
