Klamath Grown connects local farmers and consumers to enhance food access and promote sustainable agriculture in the Klamath region. They support community food programs and foster a vibrant local food economy.

Join Klamath Grown and the Klamath Falls Farmers Market for an evening of culinary wonder at this fundraising dinner hosted by Chef Liz of Terra Veg!&nbsp;Menu preview:<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Fresh summer beverages: Zero proof cocktails &amp; Cucumber/Mint Infused water</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Mezze plates: Hummus, pickled red onions, Persian cucumbers, rice crackers, Lebanese flatbread, olives, grapes, dried figs/dates, Sunflower cheddar cheese</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Moroccan Carrot Gazpacho with Lemon Tahini drizzle</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Salad made with local greens &amp; Lemon Sumac dressing</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Polenta with roasted seasonal veg, Bravas sauce, cashew coconut mozzarella, &amp; micro greens</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Terra Veg dessert to top everything off!</li></ul>Raffle baskets donated by local businesses and supporters will be on display - the more tickets you add to the jars, the more likely you&#39;ll win!All proceeds from ticket and raffle sales will be shared to benefit both organizations&#39; Local Food Access programs: the Klamath Grown Community Food Fund and SNAP/Double Up service at the Farmers Market.

Klamath Grown Donations

Bringing people together around local food through community engagement, education, improved food access, and producer support.Some of the things that we&#39;ve accomplished over the first half of 2026:<ul fr-original-style="" id="isPasted" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Switched sales platforms for our Online Market. New platform has better reporting, streamlined processes, and more automation which has reduced staff time spent on weekly tasks.&nbsp;</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Implemented new tracking and reporting procedures in our Local Food Market.&nbsp;</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Moved physical&nbsp;locations into an expanded, community-centered space on East Main St. that is more visible, and allows us to host meetings and meals in alignment with our mission.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Working with a Marketing Consultant to update our website and build a strategic communications plan that is more data-informed to help us reach new target audiences.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Hosted monthly Farmer-to-Farmer Coffee Chats, rotating locations at different farms so people can share, show, collaborate, and build a support network for local farmers with others who understand their challenges.&nbsp;</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Hosted a DEQ&nbsp;Food Systems Focus Group&nbsp;in February and a Water Districts 101&nbsp;forum in May.&nbsp;</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Strengthened relationships with local Wholesale buyers, including schools, restaurants, and the hospital. We have new systems in place to meet them where they are at and facilitate higher quantities and consistent sales.&nbsp;</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Launched our third year of Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Harvest Boxes, surpassing our goal of selling 50 shares for the 2026 season. Our farmers can plan ahead and grow in bulk for these guaranteed retail customers, lowering their risk.&nbsp;</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">13 of this year&#39;s Harvest Boxes were purchased with SNAP funds through a partnership with the PNW CSA Coalition.&nbsp;</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Launched our Community Food Fund, raising over $9,000 in dedicated donations and turning around to use those funds to provide households in need with $20 per week in fresh local food.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Hosted our first Farm-to-Table Dinner Fundraiser&nbsp;in collaboration with the Klamath Falls Farmers Market.&nbsp;</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Curate monthly Producer E-Newletters which include relevant funding and education opportunities.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">All while continuing to operate our weekly Wednesday Local Food Market without interruption, plus adding Thursday shopping hours!&nbsp;</li></ul>Future goals include:<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Finalize our first organizational strategic plan to help us be more focused and effective.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Expand Local Food Subscriptions and coordinate a Fall &amp; Winter CSA.&nbsp;</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Host a winter Farm &amp; Homestead Conference in collaboration with OSU Extension.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Refresh and publish a new edition of the Klamath Grown Guide in Spring 2027.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Strengthen and expand our network of Pickup locations.&nbsp;</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Facilitate crop planning with local growers for 2027.&nbsp;</li></ul>Our team COULD NOT do all of this work without the funding support from grants and donations. Anyone in need of fresh, healthy food is eligible for up to $20 per household per week.&nbsp;Customers can use this fund by coming to shop in-person at our Local Food Market on Wednesday (3:30-6:30pm) or Thursday (10:00-2:00pm) at KG Headquarters (601 East Main St.)&nbsp;Five $20 tags will be available each week, with the opportunity for more if customers choose to Pay it Forward!&nbsp;We appreciate continued contributions to this restricted fund, where all money will go to food shopping. Our 2026 goal is $10,000, funding ten households per week throughout the year.
