Just people. ✊🏽📜 Campaign Contribution InformationFederal law sets limits on campaign contributions. An individual may contribute up to $3,500 per election, and a qualified political action committee may contribute up to $5,000 per election. Primary, general, special, and runoff elections are each considered separate elections for these limits. Any contribution that exceeds these amounts will automatically be applied to the next eligible election unless the donor specifies otherwise.📝 Federal law also requires campaigns to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation, and employer of any individual whose contributions total more than $200 in an election cycle.🚫 Contributions from foreign nationals and federal government contractors are prohibited.🏢 Corporate contributions, including corporate checks or corporate credit cards, are not permitted.🤝 Contributions from partnerships and LLCs may be accepted in accordance with federal guidelines.
