La Artisteada Inc empowers women of color in entertainment through events that celebrate their talent and vision. By creating inclusive spaces, they foster community and highlight diverse voices in the arts.

A Guide to Getting Paid is a workshop for independent artists who want clear steps for valuing their work and securing fair payment. 💵 We are so excited to be partnering with Sonidos by Midcity Mercado for this workshop! The session will be led by Will Jordan, a Grammy-nominated singer and founder of Disco, a financial tool app for freelancers, gig workers, and 1099 independent contractors. Suggested donation $10. This event is free, but your support helps La Artisteada, a 501c3 nonprofit media collective centering creatives of color working across film, television, music, and art, put on their second Take the Stage in October!
