Celebrate Linda Devine&rsquo;s birthday with an unforgettable evening of live music, incredible food, and community care all while supporting Laramie PrideFest! This year&rsquo;s celebration features live music from Hazel Miller &amp; The Collective, along with a Cajun feast provided by Devine Eats, including gumbo and plenty of soul food favorites. Linda is a beloved friend, longtime LGBTQ+ ally, and true pillar of the Laramie community. Each year, she turns her birthday into an opportunity to bring people together and raise money for a local cause. This year, she has chosen Laramie PrideFest because she believes deeply in supporting, celebrating, and standing with our LGBTQ+ community&mdash;especially at a time when visible local support matters so much. Aliyah Howard was more than a beloved Spanish teacher at Laramie High School. She was a mentor, advocate, and beacon of hope for so many students, families, and community members across Wyoming. A passionate supporter of diversity, equity, and inclusion, Aliyah dedicated her life to creating spaces where young people could be celebrated exactly as they are. Whether through leading cultural exchange opportunities, supporting GSAs, encouraging student leadership, or advocating for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth, Aliyah embodied a deep belief that every student deserved to feel seen, valued, and empowered. Her spirit lives on through the opportunities she helped create.  Tragically, Aliyah’s life was cut short in a car accident in November 2024. In the wake of her passing, students, colleagues, family, and community members came together to honor her legacy through the creation of the Aliyah Howard Memorial Fund. Join us in honoring the life and legacy of Aliyah Howard and carrying forward the values she championed: inclusion, empowerment, and joy. This fund will provide:<ul><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Scholarships for students to academic institutions of their choosing</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Support for students to attend leadership and diversity conferences</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Funding for youth-led advocacy programs and events that uplift 2SLGBTQIA+ students and promote equity in our schools and community</li></ul>✨ Every dollar you give helps carry forward Aliyah’s lifelong work: opening doors, amplifying young voices, and building a more inclusive future.
