The Laura Ingalls Wilder Legacy and Research Association preserves and promotes the legacy of Laura Ingalls Wilder through research, education, and community engagement, fostering appreciation for her work and its impact on American culture.

Some of the most common comments we hear after LauraPalooza are &quot;I &nbsp;really enjoyed the conference, but I wish I had more time with my friends,&quot; or &quot;I had a great time, but I wish I&#39;d made more connections with people.&quot; &nbsp;You asked, and, in true pioneer spirit, we got to work. This summer, we&#39;re delighted to introduce a brand-new experience: a Choose Your Own Little House Adventure! This members-only gathering will take place July 17-19, 2026, with Springfield, Missouri as our home base (check-in will begin the evening of the 16th). Our host hotel, the <a fr-original-style="" href="https://www.hilton.com/en/book/reservation/deeplink/?ctyhocn=SGFMOGI&groupCode=91V&arrivaldate=2026-07-15&departuredate=2026-07-20&cid=OM,WW,HILTONLINK,EN,DirectLink&fromId=HILTONLINKDIRECT" rel="noopener noreferrer" style="text-decoration-color: initial; -webkit-user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">Hilton Garden Inn</a>, has graciously set aside rooms for us at a rate of $129.00 per night, plus taxes and fees. Like any good homestead, space is limited and the room block closes June 15, 2026, so be sure to book early.&nbsp;The cost to attend is just $55.00. Your registration includes a variety of thoughtfully designed daily adventures, giving you the freedom to roam, explore, and make memories with friends, much like Laura and her family did along the way, as well as a Friday evening reception with light refreshments and good company. Admission fees for any of the sites or activities will be the responsibility of each participant. &nbsp; Come for one day or stay for the whole weekend. &nbsp;Enjoy the activities that speak to you, and wander wherever your mood takes you.
