The Lawrence County Health Department promotes community health through education, prevention, and support services, focusing on substance use recovery and mental health awareness to foster a healthier, more informed community.

Gather your ghoulfriends and boofriends &mdash; register now for the Halloween Hustle 5K and Kids Dash, supporting Recovery Awareness!&nbsp;Whether you&rsquo;re running, walking, or cheering from the sidelines, participants of all ages are invited to come together in support of individuals and families impacted by substance use and mental health challenges.&nbsp;This festive fall event will feature a spirited 5K for adults and youth, along with a Kids Dash designed especially for our youngest participants. Costumes are encouraged, and the day will be filled with energy, encouragement, and community pride as we raise awareness about the importance of recovery support and education.&nbsp;All proceeds from the Halloween Hustle 5K and Kids Dash will be used to sponsor recovery awareness and community events, helping expand outreach, strengthen support networks, and inspire positive change throughout our community. Age groups are as follows: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80- 85+. Race Director has the right to combine age groups.&nbsp;Awards Ceremony:&nbsp;The awards ceremony will take place at the North Shelter House and will begin at 10:30 am&nbsp;Course Maps&nbsp;5K Course (Map to Follow)&nbsp;Kids&rsquo; Dash Course (Map to Follow)&nbsp;Timing &amp; Results&nbsp;&nbsp;The top three male &amp; female finishers in each age group will receive an age group medal.
