The $50 charge covers the food and preparation. This is in addition to the annual membership fee of $75. Please remember to renew for FY27. The new year starts July 1, 2026. Featured Speaker and Annual Meeting

The Westport LWV in collaboration with Earthplace and Sustainable Westport will host a candidate debate for Connecticut&#39;s State Senate District 26 and State House of Representatives Districts 136 and 143. &nbsp;The debate will be held Tuesday, October 13th at 7pm with a meet and mingle at 6pm at Westport Town Hall. The Westport LWV in collaboration with nine other Lower Fairfield County LWVs (Bridgeport, Greenwich, New Canaan, Norwalk, Redding, Ridgefield, Stamford, Weston and Wilton) will host Connecticut&#39;s 4th Congressional District Debate, featuring candidates: Jim Himes (D), Dr. Michael Goldstein (R), and Ben Wesley (I). The debate to be held on Monday, October 19th at 7pm at the Westport Library&nbsp;will be moderated by Kay Maxwell, former President of the National League of Women Voters. &nbsp; *This is a free event, so please disregard any mention of cost or buyer info on this form.
