LIFT Fitness Foundation

To create a foundation of wellness to empower individuals in need. We bring fitness, nutrition, and mental wellness programs directly into shelters and recovery programs to help residents build healthy habits and move toward more stable lives.

LIFTathon is back! Join us on Sunday, June 14, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Shack (712 Atlantic Avenue, Virginia Beach) for the 12th annual LIFTathon &mdash; a bench press and deadlift competition that brings our community together to support LIFT Fitness Foundation&rsquo;s wellness programs. LIFTathon continues to grow each year. In 2025, we welcomed more than 150 competitors and over 200 spectators. As our programs expand, so does the impact of this event. LIFT ran 15 programs last year, will operate 18 programs in 2026, and is preparing to expand to Salvation Army locations in Charlotte, Alexandria, and Washington, DC beginning in 2027. Sponsorships directly support our free holistic wellness programs serving individuals facing homelessness, addiction, abuse, and other barriers to health and stability. These programs provide fitness training, nutrition education, mental wellness support, and health screenings, all at no cost to participants or partner organizations. LIFTathon sponsors receive meaningful visibility throughout the event and across our marketing channels while helping make these programs possible. Sponsorship levels and benefits are outlined below. LIFTathon 2026 - Sponsorship Opportunities

Sponsor a LIFTathon Athlete! Support a competitor at the 12th Annual LIFTathon on Sunday, June 14th at The Shack while helping raise money for LIFT Fitness Foundation&#39;s free wellness programs for individuals in need. Each LIFTathon athlete will compete in a timed bench press and deadlift competition. Athletes bench press for 2 minutes and deadlift for 3 minutes, with every successful repetition counted toward their final score. Choose an athlete, select an amount you&#39;d like to pledge per rep, and we&#39;ll track their performance during the event. No payment is collected today. After LIFTathon, we&#39;ll let you know how many reps your athlete completed and provide a donation link based on your pledge amount. Every dollar raised supports LIFT&#39;s free fitness, nutrition, and mental wellness programs for underserved populations throughout Hampton Roads.

Over Veteran&rsquo;s Day weekend, our teams will cover more than 339 miles across Virginia, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and into New York City. The relay consists of 14 runners and 8 support drivers split into two teams. Each team travels with an RV and lead car, so we&rsquo;ll have two runners on the road at all times. We&rsquo;re excited to officially launch our 13th Annual LIFTathon and invite you to join us on Sunday, June 6, 2027, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at The Shack, 712 Atlantic Avenue, Virginia Beach, VA. For a limited time, early bird pricing is available now through July 1, 2026. This will be the lowest ticket price offered for LIFTathon 2027, so don&rsquo;t wait to secure your spot! Whether you&rsquo;re a seasoned athlete or brand new to fitness, LIFTathon is all about bringing people together through strength, community, and purpose. Compete in bench press and deadlift competitions, enjoy food and drinks from The Shack, browse vendors, participate in raffles and challenges, and celebrate with us during the awards ceremony. With activities for both competitors and spectators, there&rsquo;s something for everyone. Sign up as an individual or gather your team of five for a chance to compete, celebrate, and give back. Please note that teams must include at least TWO FEMALES to be eligible for team awards. Every dollar raised supports the LIFT Fitness Foundation&rsquo;s mission to create a foundation of wellness to empower individuals in need&mdash;at no cost to those we serve.
