Links Inc. empowers and uplifts the community through educational programs, cultural events, and advocacy, fostering leadership and promoting social change to enhance the quality of life for all members.

The 2026 Chocolate Hour&quot; is a cultural celebration hosted by the Dover (DE) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated. This annual event celebrates Black History Month with chocolate treats, art showcases, music, storytelling, health &amp; wellness spotlights, and more. Local talent is featured and cultural enrichment is enjoyed. It&#39;s a free, family-friendly afternoon. &nbsp;The program will be from 1:00-3:00 PM and a reception will follow. Founded in 1946 by two friends, The Links Incorporated is an international non-profit organization made up of 300 chapters of African American women. &nbsp;The organization is committed to broadening friendships and elevating its community at-large. They provide programming under five areas of focus which include Services to Youth, The Arts, National Trends and Services, International Trends and Services, Health and Human Services.

DDC FY 2027 Dues

Greetings Friend, Excitement is in the air! Get ready to be part of something extraordinary! It will be an event like no other, and we want you to be there! &nbsp;The Dover (DE) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated is proud to celebrate its Timeless Legacy: 40 Years of Friendship, Service, and Impact. &nbsp;We are dedicated to uplifting our community through our National initiatives--Services to Youth, The Arts, National Trends and Services, International Trends and Services, and Health and Human Services. Our anniversary celebration will be held at The Great Hall in Dover, Delaware, beginning with a cocktail hour and silent auction at 6:00 PM, followed by dinner and the evening program at 7:00 PM. This auspicious occasion will bring together civic leaders, community partners, business professionals, and supporters from across the state and region.&nbsp; Proceeds from this celebration directly support our signature programs: Little Links To Big Futures, Young Achievers, HBCU Love, The Christmas Link, The Chocolate Hour, &nbsp;the House of Hope&mdash;Kent County&rsquo;s only women&rsquo;s shelter--and the Dover campus of DAPI were we are committed to empowering the futures of the young mothers who benefit from the program. We also award scholarships to deserving high school graduates to support their collegiate aspirations. Through these efforts, we remain steadfast in our mission to uplift and empower those we serve.
