Lions of Virginia District 24-I

Lions of Virginia District 24-I empowers communities through leadership training and service initiatives. Our mission is to cultivate strong leaders for Lions Clubs International, fostering compassion and support for those in need.

We&#39;ve planned a great Spring Into Leadership Training session for our Lions on the Western side of District 24-I (thought Lions from the East are welcome, too!) Lunch is going to be an Old Style Zone Picnic under the pavilion: Hot dogs, hamburgers, and bottled waters will be provided. We&#39;re asking participants to bring sides, desserts, and any soft drinks or iced tea you&#39;d like to share. There is no participation cost.&nbsp; To make it even more fun, one Lucky Lion will go home a little richer with the 50/50 prize shared with the Lions foundation of his or her choice. We&#39;re also sponsoring a Silent Auction to benefit our Lions Foundations: LCIF, LOVF, and LCFSEV. Each club is asked to provide a Silent Auction item or experience (movie tickets, meal gift certificates, overnight stay, etc.) Let&#39;s help our Foundations build their coffers while we help other Lions have some fun! Completion of officer training either in-person or online through Lions Learning Center between March 1 and December 31, 2026 will count toward your Club Excellence Award for the 2026-2027 Lions year. Get ready to be part of something extraordinary at Lions of Virginia District 24-I&#39;s Spring into Leadership Training Day.&nbsp; Your District 24-I Leadership Team is working to provide a comprehensive learning experience convenient to both sides of this District. Come learn about Membership, Marketing, Leadership, Fundraising, and more. Check your Constant Contact e-mail from Global Leadership Team Coordinator Helen Person for the full schedule. Register here to attend the April 25th event at Tabernacle United Methodist Church, 831 Poquoson Avenue, Poquoson, VA. Designed for convenience to Lions on the eastern side of District 24-I, your $10 donation will help offset the cost of providing breakfast and lunch for all attendees.
