Long Island Library Conference Committee

The Long Island Library Conference Committee unites library professionals across Nassau and Suffolk Counties to foster collaboration, share knowledge, and showcase innovative solutions, enhancing library services for the community.

The Long Island Library Conference (LILC) is a joint effort of the Nassau and Suffolk County Library Associations, bringing together public librarians, administrators, directors, support staff, teachers, and special librarians from across the downstate New York area. Taking place on May 13, 2027, the conference attracts more than 750 library professionals, many of whom have decision-making authority within their organizations. LILC provides a unique opportunity for vendors, sponsors, and exhibitors to connect with key members of the library community and showcase innovative products, services, and solutions. Successful vendors at past conferences have included sellers of book and library-themed merchandise, local authors, and business-to-business service providers. These vendors have found valuable opportunities to engage directly with library professionals and demonstrate products and services that meet the evolving needs of libraries and their patrons. Cancellation PolicyExhibitor cancellations must be submitted in writing to LILCExhibits@gmail.com no later than April 26th, 2027. Optional donations are non-refundable. Final payments for Exhibitor Booth Spaces are due by May 3, 2027.
