Flavors of Louisiana at Capitol Park Museum is a NEW vibrant culinary and cultural festival celebrating the food, music, and traditions that define our state. Held in the heart of downtown Baton Rouge during Capitol Park Museum&rsquo;s 20th Anniversary year, this family-friendly event brings together professional chefs, amateur cooks, local businesses, artists, and community members for an unforgettable day of flavor and fellowship.&nbsp; The festival is anchored by the high-energy &ldquo;Anything Over Rice&rdquo; Cook-Off, where competitors go head-to-head in gumbo, red and white beans, stew, and jambalaya divisions, with guests helping crown the People&rsquo;s Choice winners. Beyond the competition, attendees can enjoy live entertainment, shop the Louisiana Vendor Marketplace featuring local artisans and small businesses, explore interactive family activities, and experience the spirit of Louisiana culture in one dynamic setting. More than just a food festival, Flavors of Louisiana supports the Friends of the Capitol Park Museum and helps fund educational programming, exhibitions, and community initiatives that keep Louisiana&rsquo;s stories alive for generations to come.
