We started this community flag initiative to make sure the American flag remained visible throughout Melrose as we marked the 25th anniversary of September 11th. What began as a remembrance project has become something we want to continue together.If you’d like to purchase a community flag and help us keep the flags flying throughout our community, you can purchase one here. Flags can be picked up at our local VFW Post 1506.And if you have an American flag that is worn or no longer suitable for display, we are also happy to accept it at the VFW for proper flag retirement.Thank you for helping us keep this tradition—and the spirit of remembrance—going.Zeffy is free for our organization.
