Members Help Us Do Work That Matters!MOAS receives less than 30% of its funding from Madison and Oglethorpe counties, which means that we depend on donations from generous supporters like you to cover the vast majority of our expenses. Our shelter takes in over 2,500 animals a year. Caring for that many animals, in a shelter that’s designed to hold about 100 at any given time, requires an annual operating budget of over $900,000. As you can imagine, it truly takes a village to raise the funds we need to continue our lifesaving efforts each year.
