Our mission
The Makaylen Plotz Memorial honors Makaylen’s memory by turning heartbreak into action. Through events like The Makaylen Mile, we raise awareness of SUDC, provide scholarships to deserving students in Stewartville, MN, support families through the SUDC Foundation, and help to fund research seeking answers and, ultimately, prevention. Makaylen’s DNA has been donated to the SUDC-RRC at NYU Langone.
