Marcky's Fighters funds research and supports families affected by rare pediatric CNS cancers, honoring Marcky, who lost his battle with ETMR. We strive to improve treatment options and provide essential aid to families facing these devastating diagnoses.

6th Annual Great Pond&#39;s Greatest 1 Mile Kids Fun RunSunday, November 15Lace up your sneakers and join us for the 6th Annual Great Pond&#39;s Greatest Kids Fun Run! This one-mile run is a fun, festive way for kids of all ages to get moving and cheer each other on. It&#39;s also a chance for them to learn how much good they can do when they come together as a community. This year, every step means something more. We are proud to run in support of Marcky&#39;s Fighters, a nonprofit created in loving memory of Marcky Foster, one of our own here in Glastonbury. Marcky bravely fought ETMR, an extremely rare and aggressive brain cancer, for two years. Through it all, he faced every challenge with a courage and spirit far bigger than himself.&nbsp; Sadly, Marcky passed away this past June, and we run this year in his honor and in his memory. To honor his fight, his family founded Marcky&#39;s Fighters to help fund research into this devastating disease and to support other families walking the same difficult road. When our kids cross the finish line this year, they&#39;ll be carrying Marcky&#39;s strength with them and bringing hope to children and families who need it most.
