The Marine Corps League - Department of Louisiana supports veterans and their families through community service, camaraderie, and advocacy, fostering a strong bond among Marines while promoting patriotism and honoring those who served.

MCL Delegate Registration Guidelines<ul data-end="528" data-start="105" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li data-end="155" data-section-id="1u0r309" data-start="105" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Submit only one registration per Detachment.</li><li data-end="270" data-section-id="147ay0f" data-start="157" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Registration must be completed by the Detachment Paymaster, Commandant, or their designated representative.</li><li data-end="374" data-section-id="1hu3rvr" data-start="272" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Each Detachment is required to register one (1) delegate for every fifteen (15) Regular Members.</li><li data-end="528" data-section-id="km90xp" data-start="376" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">If there are any remaining Regular Members beyond a multiple of fifteen, an additional delegate must be registered to ensure full voting strength.</li></ul>Important Notes:<ul data-end="669" data-start="551" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li data-end="669" data-section-id="8nwhpy" data-start="551" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Delegate calculations are based on Regular Members only (Associate Members do not count toward delegate totals)</li></ul>Example:If a Detachment has:<ul data-end="765" data-start="715" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li data-end="739" data-section-id="12n16kz" data-start="715" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">31 Regular Members</li><li data-end="765" data-section-id="h5f6fg" data-start="740" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">3 Associate Members</li></ul>Then:<ul data-end="885" data-start="773" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li data-end="800" data-section-id="120e2u4" data-start="773" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">15 members = 1 delegate</li><li data-end="829" data-section-id="1toav57" data-start="801" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">30 members = 2 delegates</li><li data-end="885" data-section-id="p2m2m9" data-start="830" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">1 remaining member = requires 1 additional delegate</li></ul>👉&nbsp;Total Delegates Required: 3This ensures your Detachment maintains its full voting representation at the Department Convention.
