This silent auction item offers an evening of baseball in comfort and good company. ⚾ Your winning bid helps us care for over 20,000 artifacts, welcome visitors to our museum, and provide research assistance and tours that keep Marshall County&rsquo;s stories alive for residents and guests. 📜 This item was donated back to the Museum from the winning donors due to not being able to attend. Casino Night: Botas y Corbatas

Join us as we journey back in time to the infamous Huckleberry Marsh at Casino Night: Boots &amp; Bowties, our third annual fundraiser. There will be casino-style gaming, live entertainment, performances, silent auctions and more. Dinner is included with your ticket. The Huckleberry Marsh was an 1800s Marshall County boom town, where the Queen really did hold court and the atmosphere was a dynamic mix of tension and camaraderie, where the daring gathered to misbehave. Your registration helps the Marshall County Historical Society &amp; Museum collect, preserve, and share the artifacts, documents, and stories that tell our county&rsquo;s history.

Casino Night: Boots & Bowties

Share a good meal and learn about what&#39;s going on at the Museum at our Pioneer Potluck 🍽️ for our Annual Member Meeting &amp; Dinner. Bring a favorite dish inspired by an old family or historical recipe. Meat, lemonade and table service provided. We&rsquo;ll share updates on current projects, highlight new exhibits, and talk about what&rsquo;s ahead for preserving our county&rsquo;s history. Your presence helps keep community memories, family histories and local landmarks at the heart of our work 📜

Pioneer Potluck: Annual Member Meeting & Dinner

Every family has a story &ndash; what&rsquo;s yours? Join us to learn how to trace your roots, uncover hidden stories and confidently research records across generations. The Marshall County Historical Society will present its first &ldquo;Genealogy Summit for Beginners&rdquo; on January 31, 2026.&nbsp;Three experienced teachers and genealogists will present classes on the research process beginning with the basics of genealogical research, including charts, forms and terminology. Classes will cover simple to the unusual places to find accurate information about your ancestors. You will learn how to utilize the websites and online services to add depth and context to family narratives.&nbsp;The cost for the Genealogy Summit is $30, which includes lunch and class packs. We are accepting registrants age 12 and older.&nbsp;

Step into Marshall County&#39;s past on a guided ghost walk through real Marshall County history. Our storytellers lead you through our Museum which has been transformed for a spooky evening, sharing documented events, local legends and tales drawn from our collections. Get to see our basement and all that it holds! You will be in a group of about 15. Have your friends select the same group if you&#39;d like to be together! This walk supports the Marshall County Historical Society&rsquo;s work to collect, preserve, and interpret our community&rsquo;s history for residents and visitors. Your registration helps care for more than 20,000 artifacts and keeps these stories available for future generations. 👻🏛️
