The McNair-Harris Crescent Foundation empowers the Durham community by recognizing leadership, educational achievement, and service through events like the Bull City Sapphire Awards, fostering a brighter future for all through scholarships and community engagement.

Join us on Saturday, July 25, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Maggiano&#39;s Little Italy, located at 8030 Renaissance Parkway, Suite 890, Durham, NC, as we celebrate the&nbsp;10th Anniversary of the Bull City Sapphire Awards. This milestone event honors outstanding individuals and organizations whose leadership, service, and dedication continue to make a meaningful impact throughout Durham and the surrounding community. In addition to recognizing this year&#39;s award recipients and celebrating the legacy of past honorees, we will also recognize the academic excellence and achievements of local students through the presentation of scholarships awarded by our organization. The Bull City Sapphire Awards celebrate community leadership, educational achievement, and the collective efforts of those working to create a brighter future for generations to come. The Bull City Sapphire Awards Community Recognition Luncheon 2026

It&#39;s 1983 and you&#39;re invited to our Blue Light Basement Party listen to the best records. Two DJ&#39;s playing Funk, R&amp;B, Disco, and Soul. Cash prize for fresh dressed person at the party (in late &#39;70s/early &#39;80s threads, cat). Come out for table games, Soul Train scramble board, and more.&nbsp;
