Hanging With the Herd 🐴 is a relaxed time at Mending Strides Ranch for ADULTS&nbsp;to slow down, breathe, and connect with our herd and with each other. You will have an opportunity to meet the herd, hear their rescue stories and groom. Please use this form to let us know you&rsquo;re coming so we can welcome you safely and comfortably.&nbsp; Arrive five minutes early for brief paperwork. Tennis shoes or boots required. Hat, long pants and water recommended. Drive under 10 mph on driveway.

This casual lunchtime meetup supports mental wellness through connection, conversation, and time outdoors. What to expect You&rsquo;ll enjoy pizza, meet the ponies, and take part in low-pressure activities (Like grooming)that encourage stress relief and peer support. Coming Home to Yourself is an equine assisted workshop for women looking to navigate the holidays without losing themselves.&nbsp;Together, we&#39;ll explore:<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Family patterns &mdash; recognizing old roles that may resurface around the holidays</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Values &mdash; identifying what matters to you beyond guilt, obligation, or expectations</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Body &amp; emotional awareness &mdash; noticing what happens inside you before automatically reacting</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Boundaries &mdash; understanding what belongs to you and what belongs to others</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Choice &amp; agency &mdash; focusing on what you can control: your own choices and responses</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Self-trust &mdash; learning to listen to yourself without immediately overriding your own needs</li></ul>You don&#39;t have to have a difficult or dysfunctional family to benefit.
