Methow Arts Fest 2025 - Methow In Wonderland!

Please join us for our Methow Arts Alliance first ever Golf Invitational tournament on May 18th, 2025 at<a href="http://www.bearcreekgolfcourse.com/" style="color:inherit;text-decoration:inherit;user-select:auto;box-sizing:inherit"> Bear Creek Golf Course!</a>  It will be a nine-hole best-ball scramble format. That means every player on each 4-person team will get the chance to contribute to the team’s score. There will also be putting, chipping, closest-to-the-pin and longest drive (men’s and women’s) contests. Dinner and live music will follow the tournament.   Cost is $125 per non member player & $100 per Bear Creek member player.Non-golfers are welcome to join for dinner and music for $50. Your fee includes your golf game, cart, and dinner with live entertainment to follow. Sign-in starts at 1pm and course play begins at 2pm on May 18th. Dinner and entertainment will begin at approximately 5pm. Would you be able to create one or two 4-person teams (with at least one female on each team)?  Kids are welcome!

Join Methow Arts as we welcome Jarabe Mexicano to The Barn this spring.Jarabe Mexicano captures the nostalgic spirit of their border roots with their brand of "Bordeno-Soul," which honors the musical tastes and cultural influences of its members. Jarabe, which translates to "concoction," highlights the eclectic mix of genres they perform ranging from Mexican Folk, Rock & Roll, and Norteno/Tex Mex to Latin Rock, Trio Romantico, and popular Cumbia. It all started with the piano where he cultivated a relationship with Bach, Chopin, Beethoven and Joplin, enjoying the sound and feel and especially the energy of the piano. Theater caught his attention in high school and after a summer session studying at Phillips Academy in Andover, MA, he was inspired to get his BFA in Acting from Cornish College of the Arts. While immersing himself in Seattle’s theatre scene in the 90’s, Jose began teaching himself jazz, leading to a lifetime of making and sharing music on both coasts and in Europe. She has created, produced, and performed in the original productions of the Buttrock Suites since its inception in 2003, which eventually led to co-creating the highly successful recurring holiday shows, Buttcracker I-V. Cardiff was a founding member of d9 Dance Collective and a member of Pat Graney Dance Company and Wade Madsen and Dancers. She has set work for Ian Bell’s Rebar Brown Derby Series, Teatro ZinZanni, Seattle Repertory Theater, Live Girls! Theatre, and more. In 2022, she and Sara Jinks co-produced Space 50, an all outer-space themed dance, music, and film concert. Diana is also a member of the band Caudal Peduncle. Her day job is Marine Science Interpreter at the Seattle Aquarium. She holds a BFA from Cornish College of the Arts.
