Miami Beach Orchid Society

The Miami Beach Orchid Society promotes the appreciation and cultivation of orchids through education, events, and community engagement, fostering a love for these beautiful plants while highlighting Florida's native orchid species.

Explore orchids in a new way 🌸 at our Orchid Painting Workshop on September 17th and take home an 8x10 canvas that you paint during the session. Guided by artist, Gloria Hernando from Latin for Glory, you’ll learn about a special orchid and translate their colors, patterns, and shapes onto canvas. This hands-on session supports our mission of orchid appreciation, cultivation, and conservation. No painting experience is required, just curiosity and a willingness to look closely at these remarkable plants. All materials and refreshments are provided. Workshop cost is $40. 🌿
