The Lois McElroy Legacy Fund honors a life dedicated to teaching, a love of reading, and a lasting impact on generations of students.In lieu of flowers, Kristi and Vito Germinario kindly request that donations be made to the Middleburg Community Charter School in memory of Ms. Lois McElroy.Your contribution will help support meaningful projects at the school, including the installation of a new front entrance sign reflecting the school’s current name, as well as the dedication of the school library in Ms. McElroy’s honor. A beloved second-grade teacher, Ms. McElroy, had a deep love for children and an extraordinary passion for reading, often finishing two to three books each week. Renaming the library is a fitting tribute to her lifelong commitment to education and literacy.
