LXCL:Mile High HBCU Weekend, Inc. is a Colorado-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit advancing HBCU awareness, alumni connection, and scholarship access.

Close out the weekend with energy, intention, and purpose. This fitness bootcamp experience features a certified instructor leading an all-levels workout, with a live DJ providing a high-energy soundtrack to keep you moving from start to finish. Explore health and wellness vendors from across the state and bring a school supply to help us give back as we close the weekend with impact. Ages 10 and older.

Step into the culture, conversations, and legacy that make the HBCU journey unforgettable. Inspired by the spirit of A Different World, this evening brings together students, alumni, parents, and community members for a meaningful, uplifting experience.Enjoy a dynamic panel featuring HBCU alumni and current students, followed by networking and social time designed to spark real connections. Interactive stations throughout the venue will offer opportunities to learn more about HBCUs, take photos, and engage with others who share the same pride and purpose.It&rsquo;s culture, community, and conversation &mdash; all in one place.

We&rsquo;re kicking off Mile High HBCU Weekend 2026 with a chill outdoor night full of games, music, and HBCU pride. Pull up for spades, dominoes, Uno, sand volleyball, a 360&deg; photo booth, and R&amp;B vibes all evening. As the sun goes down, HBCU‑themed movies hit the big screen for the perfect summer‑night finish.

Hosted by the Denver Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and Mile High HBCU Weekend, Inc. The 2026 Mile High Step &amp; Stroll Show is a living tribute to HBCU culture and the legacy of Divine Nine Organizations.&nbsp;

This summer, Levi, a proud graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, gave his time, energy, and heart to help make the 2026 Mile High HBCU Weekend a success. His servant leadership, humility, and willingness to help wherever he was needed earned him recognition as the inaugural recipient of our HBCU Rising Stars Scholarship. This fall, he&rsquo;ll begin the next chapter of his journey as a student at Texas Southern University. Now, we&rsquo;re asking our community to show up for him. Levi still needs $9,000 to cover his remaining first-year educational expenses. Every donation&mdash;no matter the amount&mdash;helps bring him one step closer to campus. Together, we can invest in a remarkable young leader and help ensure financial barriers don&rsquo;t stand in the way of his HBCU dream.
