Minds Matter empowers high school students from low-income families to achieve their college dreams through mentorship, academic support, and resources, fostering a path to success and breaking the cycle of poverty.

Join Minds Matter Houston for our second annual benefit event, Fueling Futures, on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. This year, we are moving to a beautiful new venue, City Cellars HTX, which offers incredible views of the Houston skyline. This event helps fund our programs that equip low-income high school students with the tools, resources, and mentorship needed to succeed in their pursuit of higher education, so they become strong contributors to our Houston community and ensure there is never a second-generation Minds Matter student.&nbsp; It will be an unforgettable, fun-filled evening featuring:<ul fr-original-style="text-align: start;" style="text-align: start; box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Open Bar &amp; Hearty Hors d&#39;oeuvres</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Live Entertainment: Improv comedy by Houston ComedySportz (the city&rsquo;s longest-running comedy troupe!)</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Silent Auction: Featuring exclusive experiences and unique packages.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Program Impact: An inspiring story from one of our students whose life has been transformed by the program.</li></ul>
