It includes application support, readiness assessments, evaluation travel, a highly trained guide dog, a month of intensive guide dog school, lodging, meals, graduation travel, and continued support after the child returns home.Mira Foundation USA provides this complete experience at no cost to qualified blind children and their families. The total cost is approximately $70,000 for each child placed with a guide dog.When you become a monthly donor, you provide dependable support that helps us plan ahead and be ready for the next child who begins this journey. Whether you give $10, $25, $50, or another amount each month, your generosity becomes part of every step, from the first application to the day a child returns home with a guide dog by their side.
