LXCL:The MLK Library Friends promotes access to the Central Library's resources, advocating for literacy and library services in Washington, DC. We foster community support to enhance library services for all residents. We are in the process of rebuilding the organization to bring in more programming, expand access to supplies, and extend more member benefits. Every dollar helps add new supplies, support youth and adult literacy programs, and expand free events and workshops.
