Welcome to our online fundraising auction. 📣 *Structures can be viewed at Local Color Art Gallery at 1652 Main Street in Chatham* The Phillips Farm, a beloved, multigenerational family-run fixture in the town of Chatham, is fondly remembered today by locals and longtime summer visitors alike, especially for its salt-air-sweetened corn. The farm was established by Freeman Phillips Sr. in the late 1920s, and with it began the family&#39;s tradition of creating floats for the Chatham Fourth of July Parade.Although the farm closed in 1986&mdash;its former property now home to what is known as Cornfield Plaza&mdash;the tradition of float building has endured, spanning five generations of the Phillips family. While the tradition continues under the Phillips Farm name, each float is made possible only through the countless contributions, creativity, and enthusiasm of a remarkable group of friends who have become a family in their own right. We are deeply grateful for the encouragement and support we receive from the community year after year, and we remain inspired to continue this dynamic tradition and to share our stories.In response to this year&#39;s parade theme, &quot;Anchored in Freedom: Timeless Tides and Traditions,&quot; we celebrate &lsquo;our story&rsquo; by artistically recreating many of the buildings and landmarks that define our small town&mdash;a place where life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness continue to flourish.Following the generous response from the community, we have decided to make a selection of these handcrafted pieces available for purchase in partnership with Monomoy Community Services. Through this special auction, you now have the opportunity to bring home a piece of this year&#39;s float, with all proceeds benefiting MCS and its ongoing mission to care for and strengthen our community. Join us for the 5th annual Holiday Gala - celebrating 75 years of Chatham Jewelers!&nbsp;This year&#39;s beneficiary is Monomoy Community Services Building Project, as they welcome the Chatham Children&#39;s Fund under there roof. Your presence helps sustain year-round childcare, youth enrichment, and family support services for Chatham residents. Live music, high end raffle prizes, hors d&#39;ouvres, and cocktails! Together, we&rsquo;ll share good food, dancing, and stories from our 75 years in the community as we look toward the next seventy five years of supporting families, strengthening Chatham. ✨
