Monroe Camp and Retreat Center

Monroe Camp and Retreat Center provides a welcoming space for spiritual growth, community building, and outdoor experiences, fostering connections with nature and each other through retreats and programs.

Monroe Camp and Retreat Center memberships help keep this “place set apart” thriving for campers, families, and church and community groups. Your support nurtures space for prayer, play, and courage-building adventures on our 300 acres of God’s creation. As a member, you help children paddle, climb, and create, deepen their walk with Christ, and gain skills like Red Cross First Aid and CPR. Thank you for sustaining a safe, welcoming camp where relationships with God, others, and creation grow.

Help Us Turn $10,000 Into $20,000! Long time Camp supporter, Jim McClanathan, has generously issued a matching challenge of $10,000 toward improvements to our camp kitchen! He wants you to join him in strengthening the long-term impact of Camp Monroe. Why It MattersOur kitchen is at the heart of Camp Monroe. It's where thousands of meals are prepared each summer, fueling campers and staff for days filled with adventure, friendship, and faith. The walk-in cooler unit is original to the camp from 1954, so the time has come that we must replace it as we can no longer get parts to keep it running. To complete the Walk-in cooler replacement we need approximately $30,000, so additional gifts are welcome! As Camp Monroe continues to grow, so does the need for a kitchen that can keep up. These improvements will help us better serve our campers, support our staff, and continue providing quality meals for years to come. Will You Help Us Meet the Match?Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to reaching our $10,000 goal. With your support, we can turn this generous opportunity into a lasting improvement for Camp Monroe.Every dollar you give will be matched, doubling the impact of your generosity! Let's meet Jim McClanathan's challenge! To receive this incredible gift, we must raise $10,000 in matching donations from our camp community. $10,000 – Matching funds available+ $10,000 – You, Our Camp Community Donations= $20,000 – Toward Kitchen Improvements! Together, we can make a difference for generations of campers to come. Camp Monroe – Camp Is for Christ!

🎉Excitement is in the air! Get ready to be part of something extraordinary at Monroe Camp and Retreat Center's Annual Gala! It's an event like no other, and we want you to be there. The evening will include delicious hors d'oeuvres and dinner, stories from staff and campers about the impact of camp, and the opportunity to contribute to our community's future through a silent auction. 🎉 Every registration and donation to the event will bring us closer to achieving our goal of providing 50 camper scholarships and adding new programming equipment in 2027. Together, we can support every climb, paddle, and prayer that leads campers towards confidence in themselves and a bold faith in Jesus Christ. Thank you for supporting our mission, your support is invaluable.
