Montclair Early Music

Montclair Early Music enriches the community through performances and educational programs focused on Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque music. They aim to foster appreciation for early music while providing accessible music education for all ages.

Huzzah! Join nonprofit Montclair Early Music (MEM) for MedievalFest on Saturday, August 29, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Montclair Art Museum. New this year: If inclement weather forces a postponement, the event will be held on Sunday, August 30, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Step back in time as armored knights clash in thrilling demonstrations, browse handcrafted treasures from talented artisans, and enjoy a variety of delicious food and refreshments. Experience live music from the Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque periods featuring the Montclair Early Music vocal and instrumental ensembles, our children&#39;s recorder group, DragonBards, and special guest performers. Costumes are encouraged! Purchase your tickets today! Ticket prices may increase on the day of the event. Proceeds support Montclair Early Music&#39;s concerts, community events, and free and low-cost music education programs for children, seniors, and the wider community.
