Earth-friendly Gardening focuses on sustainable practices that support the broader environment while making gardening easier and more resilient. In this session, you&rsquo;ll learn how to improve soil structure, encourage beneficial soil life, assess drainage, and choose amendments that support long-term soil health in your yard, containers, or community garden.

Explore what&#39;s growing at the Pinto Lake Demonstration Garden this fall. 🍂 Discover the colors, scents, and textures of the season as you take a guided, small-group walk through Monterey Bay Master Gardeners&#39; Demonstration Garden. Along the way, you&#39;ll stop at different garden areas where Master Gardeners share what&#39;s thriving, answer your questions, and offer practical, research-based gardening tips. Explore vegetable beds, fruit trees, flowers, succulents, native plants, our bog garden, and other demonstration areas showcasing water-wise, sustainable gardening practices. Whether you garden in containers or have a large backyard, you&#39;ll leave with ideas and inspiration you can put to use at home. Recommended for adults. Registration is required, as space is limited. Driving and parking instructions will be sent to all registrants.
