Join MorDance for a final open rehearsal of Unwritten before its premiere this May. This is a rare opportunity to step inside the studio at a pivotal moment in the creative process and experience the work as it reaches its final stages.&nbsp; Audiences will see excerpts of Unwritten, a new contemporary ballet exploring the U.S. Constitution as a living document, and witness how the choreography, structure, and performance come together just before opening. Open rehearsals offer a unique window into how the work is made, inviting you to observe the collaboration between choreographer and dancers up close and to experience the piece in a more intimate, in-progress setting. Following the rehearsal, there will be an opportunity for conversation with the artists. Doors 6:15&nbsp; Programing 6:30 Space is limited. Advance registration is encouraged. The cost to produce each Open Rehearsal, including artistic and event staff, is approximately $2,500. While we strive to make these experiences free and open to all, we rely on the generosity of our community to cover these production costs.

Through physically driven ensemble work and a movement language that shifts between tension, rupture, and collective force, the piece examines the distance between the ideals embedded in the nation&rsquo;s founding documents and the lived realities of the people governed by them.&nbsp;
