Every day, the people in our industry help families find a place to call home. But a home doesn’t feel like much of a home when the kitchen is empty during the holidays.Last year, I started Closing the Holiday Hunger Gap on my own after seeing more and more local moms asking for help just to put food on the table. With the support of this community, we provided 50 full Thanksgiving meal baskets to families in Lexington and Richmond. This year, MBAB is proud to stand behind it, and we want to go bigger.Our goal: 100 families.What $40 does:Each $40 donation purchases one Walmart Holiday Meal Basket, which feeds a family of 10.
