The Museum of Dance celebrates the art of dance through exhibitions, performances, and educational programs, fostering appreciation for diverse dance forms and honoring influential figures like Jock Soto to inspire future generations.

Jock Soto Day 2026Join the International Museum of Dance for the second annual Jock Soto Day, an evening of dance honoring Navajo Nation&#39;s own Jock Soto, and celebrating the vitality of dance across New Mexico and the Southwest. Jock Soto, Din&eacute; (Navajo) and Puerto Rican, danced as a Principal with the New York City Ballet for 24 years, originating roles for George Balanchine and Jerome Robbins.
