Community Cat Spay $5,000 Matching Donation Fundraiser

Our mission is to neuter and vaccinate the community cats of Greater Hartford for population control and to help them live healthier lives. But we don&rsquo;t stop there.&nbsp; Gandalf began showing up at one of our adopters homes seeking shelter and food. One day he showed up injured so we went over to work on trapping. He had a wound on his leg and placed on a rabies quarantine. He finished up with the quarantine and is ready to continue with his journey to his forever home.&nbsp; He&rsquo;s had a lot of blinking and squinty eyes which we recents found out was entropion- when the eyelids curl up against the eyeball. It&rsquo;s a very uncomfortable and often painful experience. The plan is to get both his neuter and entropion surgery done at the same time. After recovery, he will be going to his foster to adopt home. Gandalf is a sweet and affectionate boy. He just needs time to feel safe. It took him a while to feel comfortable with our trappers but once he did - he showed us just how clingy and affectionate he can be. We are excited to get this handsome boy with the sad eyes some relief and get him closer to his forever home.
