This signature event brings together community leaders, elected officials, business professionals, educators, faith leaders, labor organizations, students, and supporters from across Northwest Ohio to celebrate the progress we’ve made while recommitting ourselves to the work that still lies ahead. The Freedom Fund Celebration serves as the NAACP’s premier fundraising event, helping to support programs and initiatives focused on civil rights advocacy, youth leadership, education, economic empowerment, voter engagement, and social justice throughout the Toledo community. Guests will enjoy an elegant evening of fellowship, recognition of outstanding community leaders, and a powerful keynote address from Roland Martin, whose voice continues to shape national conversations on race, politics, and equity. Whether you are a longtime supporter of the NAACP or attending for the first time, your presence helps strengthen our mission to ensure political, educational, social, and economic equality for all. Together, we will honor our legacy, celebrate our achievements, and invest in a future where justice and opportunity are accessible to every member of our community.
