Najwa Foundation Summer 2026 Humanitarian Relief Campaign Campaign Goal$10,000 Supporting the Summer 2026 Distribution ProjectFood and Clothing Distribution for Refugee Families in Sudan and Chad Najwa Foundation is launching a Summer 2026 Humanitarian Relief Campaign to support vulnerable families living in refugee communities in Sudan and Chad. Many of these families have been displaced by the Darfur genocide and the ongoing war in Sudan, and they continue to face hunger, poverty, and limited access to basic necessities. This campaign will help provide essential humanitarian support to displaced families, with a focus on food assistance, clothing, and direct relief for those most in need. When We Give, We Restore Dignity. Across Sudan and Chad, displaced families are living through the daily realities of war, displacement, food insecurity, and uncertainty. Many have lost their homes, livelihoods, and access to the basic resources needed to survive. For women, children, elderly individuals, and families living in refugee communities, humanitarian support is not only urgent, it is life-sustaining. Najwa Foundation’s Summer 2026 Distribution Project is rooted in compassion, dignity, and community responsibility. Through this campaign, we are raising funds to provide direct support to families who need it most. Your donation will help provide:• Food packages for families facing hunger and food insecurity• Clothing and shoes for children and displaced families• Direct humanitarian support for vulnerable refugee families This project will reach communities that have been deeply impacted by violence, displacement, and poverty. Why This Campaign MattersSudan is currently experiencing one of the largest humanitarian crises in the world. Millions of civilians have been displaced, and families in refugee communities are facing severe shortages of food, clothing, medical care, and basic supplies. During the summer months, these challenges become even more difficult. Food prices rise, supply chains are disrupted by conflict, and extreme heat places additional strain on already vulnerable families. For displaced families, access to food and basic clothing can make a meaningful difference in their daily survival, comfort, and dignity. This campaign is about helping families feel seen, supported, and remembered during a time when their needs are urgent and ongoing. Project OverviewNajwa Foundation’s Summer Humanitarian Relief Project will provide direct support across two main areas:1. Food DistributionFamilies will receive food assistance to help address immediate hunger and food insecurity in refugee communities. Food items will be purchased locally whenever possible to support local markets and ensure efficient distribution.Priority will be given to:• Widows and female-headed households• Families with young children• Elderly individuals• Families experiencing severe food insecurity2. Clothing and Shoes DistributionMany displaced families have limited access to basic clothing due to financial hardship and forced displacement. This project will provide clothing and shoes to children and adults, helping families maintain dignity and protection from harsh environmental conditions. Items will be purchased locally whenever possible to support nearby economies and ensure families receive practical, appropriate support. Campaign Goal: $10,000This campaign seeks to raise $10,000 to support Najwa Foundation’s Summer 2026 Distribution Project. Funds raised through this campaign will support:• Food packages• Clothing and shoes• Direct relief for vulnerable families• On-the-ground distribution effortsEvery donation helps us move closer to reaching families who are waiting for support. A Call to GiveThe families we serve have endured unimaginable hardship, but they continue to hold onto hope, faith, and resilience. Your support can help feed a family, clothe a child, and remind displaced households that they have not been forgotten. Give today and help Najwa Foundation turn compassion into action.

Mazin Aboalbashar is a Sudanese geologist who is currently displaced in Tripoli, Libya because of the ongoing war in Sudan. Even through displacement and financial hardship, Mazin has remained committed to his education and future. He has been officially admitted to the Master’s Degree in Geosciences for the Energy Transition at the University of Barcelona for the 2026–2027 academic year. This opportunity represents more than a degree; it is a chance for Mazin to continue his academic journey, rebuild his future, and use his expertise in geosciences and sustainable development to make a meaningful impact. Najwa Foundation is raising funds to help cover the costs of tuition, housing, travel, health insurance, and living expenses so Mazin can pursue this life-changing opportunity. In Mazin’s Own Words Below is a personal statement from Mazin sharing his journey, his admission to the University of Barcelona, and what this opportunity means to him. My name is Mazin Aboalbashar, a Sudanese geologist currently residing in Tripoli, Libya, afterbeing displaced by the ongoing conflict in Sudan.I am writing to respectfully request your consideration for any scholarship, financial assistance, sponsorship, or educational support that may help me pursue my graduate studies. I have recently been officially admitted to the Master's Degree in Geosciences for the EnergyTransition at the University of Barcelona, Spain, for the 2026–2027 academic year. Receivingthis admission represents far more than an academic achievement; it is an opportunity to rebuildmy future through education after the disruption and uncertainty caused by war anddisplacement. I hold a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Geology and have gained professional experience in petroleum exploration, well site geology, formation evaluation, and subsurface analysis. Throughout my academic studies and professional work, I developed a strong interest in sustainable resource management, geoenergy systems, and the role of geosciences in addressing future energy challenges. Before the conflict in Sudan, I was dedicated to building my professional career and continuing my education. The war, however, forced me to leave my home and seek safety in Libya. Likemillions of other Sudanese, I suddenly found myself facing uncertainty and the loss ofopportunities that I had worked hard to achieve. Despite these circumstances, I remaineddetermined to continue my education and pursue my long-term goals. Through persistence and commitment, I successfully secured admission to one of Europe's respected geoscience programs. This achievement strengthened my belief that education is oneof the most powerful means of overcoming adversity and creating opportunities for individualsand communities affected by conflict. Unfortunately, my current financial circumstances make it impossible for me to cover the costs of pursuing this opportunity, including tuition fees, accommodation, living expenses, health insurance, and travel. As a displaced person living away from my homeland, I do not have the financial resources necessary to undertake these studies independently. This master's program will equip me with advanced knowledge in sustainable energy systems, geothermal resources, geological modeling, subsurface resource management, and environmental stewardship. My ambition is to apply these skills to projects that promotesustainable development, responsible resource management, and post-conflict recovery inSudan and other regions facing similar challenges.I am not seeking financial support simply to earn another academic qualification. I am seeking the opportunity to continue learning, contribute to my profession, and build a future that allows me to serve communities affected by conflict through scientific knowledge and sustainable development. I would be sincerely grateful for any assistance, scholarship opportunity, sponsorship, orguidance that your organization may be able to provide. Your support would not only help mecontinue my education but would also enable me to transform this opportunity into meaningfulcontributions for my community and my profession. Thank you very much for your time, your consideration, and the valuable work your organizationdoes in supporting education and vulnerable individuals around the world.
