Join us for our Professional Development Series Kickoff Intro to EMDR Therapy with Catherine Carballeira, PhD, LCSWR, CASAC, CHt, EMDR Trained (EMDRIA)Introduction to EMDR-Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing- for work with individuals impacted by trauma. EMDR Is endorsed by the WHO, APA among others, as an evidenced based, first line treatment for trauma. Unlike other forms of therapy (CPT, e.g.) It does not force the individual to relive their trauma only to hold an image of the trauma in mind while processing.
