We at Noblesville Preservation Alliance believe preservation begins with people, because without people there is nothing to preserve. Preserving acts of compassion, kindness, and care for fellow human beings will lead us all to a vibrant future. Between 7,000 and 8,000 Hamilton County residents rely on assistance to feed their families and that assistance may or may not arrive soon, and many others are struggling with food insecurities due to lay offs. Even when these difficult circumstances end, there will need to be a replenishment of goods.Because of these urgent needs, we’re calling for Giving Tuesday to come early this year through NPA’s Preserving Our Neighbors Campaign, an initiative that simply cannot wait until Giving Tuesday officially arrives on December 2. Giving Tuesday is a Global Day of Generosity observed each year on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, when nonprofits around the world invite supporters to contribute to their missions. This season, instead of raising funds for our own organization, we feel it is imperative to help preserve the wellbeing of our neighbors who need us most. Every dollar raised between now and Giving Tuesday through NPA’s Preserving Our Neighbors Campaign will go directly to local food partners providing meals to residents in need. Thank you all in advance for your support and for understanding how vital it is that we do all that we can to preserve our most vulnerable residents now, so that they may have a chance to preserve our history in the future. “Noblesville Preservation Alliance recognizes that the preservation of our community includes both its historic structures and the people who give them life.
