The mission of NESACS is: the advancement of chemistry and chemical engineering, the promotion of research in chemical science and industry, the improvement of the qualifications of chemists and chemical engineers through high standards of educational and professional ethics, the increase and diffusion of chemical knowledge, and the promotion of scientific interests and inquiry. NESACS is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) corporation.The 14th Annual Advances in Chemical Sciences Symposium is a day long symposium focused on cutting edge medicinal chemistry, organic synthesis and methodology. It is organized by the Medicinal Chemistry Committee of NESACS. Each year, the symposium features talks by leading industry and academic professionals and features a recent Nobel Prize winner. Currently, the committee is finalizing the slate of speakers.
