Join us at the Delaware Art Museum alongside an amazing lineup sure to keep everyone dancing! &nbsp;For 50 years, the City of Wilmington has been a cornerstone of Hispanic culture and heritage in the great state of Delaware. What began in the mid 1970&#39;s as a small gathering has grown into the state&#39;s most anticipated kick-off celebrations, bringing together thousands of families, businesses, and community members each year. This concert tribute brings salsa, merengue, bachata, and cumbia, with an amazing lineup that pays tribute to how it all began with our TRIBUTE to Puerto Rico. &nbsp; There will be an amazing host and DJ keeping the energy going, and while this is a tribute to PR, we have a local Mexican/pr inspired hip-hop tribute that you will want to see by none other than Mr. Capo and Young Seda. &nbsp;From Shawn and Alvis to Sontriada with the amazing Luis Damon and Papote Jimenez, you will have a day full of music, food, dancing, and, of course, closing out the tribute with Frankie Negron! The celebration has inspired growth and independent statewide initiatives in all three counties and countless neighborhoods. As the founding program for Hispanic Heritage in Delaware, we couldn&rsquo;t be happier to celebrate 50 years of community engagement and growth statewide. Nuestras Raices is proud to host this historic event. Our mission has always been clear: to celebrate, preserve, and share the rich traditions of Hispanic culture while fostering unity, bridging the gaps between cultural differences, and empowering the Hispanic community for social growth. Through the dedication of our all-volunteer team, we have created a legacy that spans five decades: A testament to the strength and vibrancy of our community. This milestone 50th anniversary is more than a celebration of our past; it is a commitment to our future while honoring America&rsquo;s 250 anniversary. Frankie Negrón Hispanic Heritage Kick- Off 50th Anniversary Concert Celebration

Durante 50 a&ntilde;os, la ciudad de Wilmington ha sido una piedra angular de la cultura y el patrimonio hispano en el gran estado de Delaware. Lo que comenz&oacute; a mediados de la d&eacute;cada de 1970 como una peque&ntilde;a reuni&oacute;n se ha convertido en las celebraciones de inicio m&aacute;s esperadas del estado, reuniendo a miles de familias, negocios y miembros de la comunidad cada a&ntilde;o. Esta celebraci&oacute;n ha inspirado el crecimiento y las iniciativas independientes en los tres condados y en innumerables vecindarios. Como el programa fundador del Patrimonio Hispano en Delaware, no podr&iacute;amos estar m&aacute;s contentos de celebrar 50 a&ntilde;os de participaci&oacute;n y crecimiento comunitario a nivel estatal. Nuestras Ra&iacute;ces se enorgullece de albergar este evento hist&oacute;rico. Nuestra misi&oacute;n siempre ha sido clara: celebrar, preservar y compartir las ricas tradiciones de la cultura hispana mientras fomentamos la unidad, cerramos las brechas entre las diferencias culturales y empoderamos a la comunidad hispana para el crecimiento social. A trav&eacute;s de la dedicaci&oacute;n de nuestro equipo totalmente voluntario, hemos creado un legado que abarca cinco d&eacute;cadas: un testimonio de la fortaleza y vitalidad de nuestra comunidad. Este hito del 50 aniversario es m&aacute;s que una celebraci&oacute;n de nuestro pasado; es un compromiso con nuestro futuro mientras honramos el 250 aniversario de Am&eacute;rica.
