Oak Park Club Inc aims to preserve and enhance the community pool, a cherished local gathering spot since 1968. They focus on fundraising for essential renovations to ensure safe and enjoyable experiences for families for decades to come.

After more than 50 years, our pool needs to be resurfaced before it can safely open for the 2027 season. Help us protect the place where our neighborhood has made memories since 1968. Our pool is&nbsp;leaking.In the simplest terms, our beloved pool is losing thousands of gallons every season. To open safely for 2027, it needs to be resurfaced, a fundamental project that pools undergo every decade or so. Oak Park hasn&#39;t been resurfaced in 50 years. The work includes a new plaster interior, new tile, an upgraded concrete pool deck, and updated restroom facilities, built to serve the neighborhood for another fifty years. The board is vetting contractors to complete the project this fall. We&#39;re already well on our way.Reaching this point has been a true community effort. Leadership pledges from generous families, $200 resurfacing donations, and members voluntarily paying 2025 dues have brought us to $85,000, a substantial head start. Now we need the rest of our community to help us cross the finish line.

Event Details: &middot; &nbsp;Tickets:&nbsp;$150 per person (includes dinner + drink tickets) &middot; &nbsp;Prix Fixe Menu: Choice of Ribeye, Prime Rib, Tuna, or Chicken (please email if a vegetarian option is preferred) &middot; Highlights: Cocktail hour, live music, silent auction, and a group babysitting option! Reserve your seats today (Capacity is strictly limited to 120 guests!) For over 55 years, Oak Park Pool has been the bedrock of our community. Unique neighborhood pools like ours are exceedingly rare today, and the future of the pool depends entirely on the care and support of neighbors and friends. All proceeds from this dinner go directly toward a critical, full resurfacing effort to ensure our pool remains the heart of our community for generations to come while protecting the character, charm, and value of our entire neighborhood.
