Wildwoods BASH - Amigos de plumas

This year’s theme, Friends of a Feather, celebrates the people who gather around the Ogden Nature Center with a shared love of nature and a belief in its importance to our community. Guests are invited to experience the Ogden Nature Center after hours, where the magic of the preserve sets the stage for something memorable. Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy music, hors d’oeuvres, dinner, auctions, photo moments, and meaningful encounters with the animal ambassadors who help bring our mission to life. More than a night out, the BASH is a chance to celebrate the place we love while helping sustain environmental education, animal ambassador care, habitat conservation, and the connections that keep people close to nature. Feathers & Frost: Holiday Photo Sessions with Our Birds of Prey Friday, November 29 | 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM At the Ogden Nature Center’s Holiday Open HouseUp-close portraits with the Nature Center’s resident raptors, all in support of a wild and worthy cause.Celebrate the season with a rare and meaningful experience: a photo beside one of the Ogden Nature Center’s incredible birds of prey. During our Holiday Open House, guests are invited to step into a winter-themed setting and take a photo with one of our resident raptors, including hawks, owls, a bald eagle, and an American kestrel. These non-releasable birds live at the Nature Center and serve as animal ambassadors, helping us teach visitors about wildlife, conservation, and the connections we share with the world around us. This is more than a photo opportunity. It is a quiet, powerful moment to come face-to-face with one of Utah’s native birds and support the work that keeps them, and their wild counterparts, safe and thriving. How it works:

Bring your own phone or camera. Your donation helps feed and care for our resident raptors and supports hands-on programs that inspire thousands of children and visitors each year to connect with the land, the animals, and the wonder just outside their door.
